Study Room question
I'll be living on residence (McKay) this fall and I was wondering, are there study rooms located on each floor of a residence building, or are they all located on one floor? Or does it depend on the building?

Study rooms are in the basement, however I believe there are common rooms on each floor

Yep you can get wifi in both common rooms and study rooms in the basement.
(With the exception of the laundry room area in Mckay)

Yep, you can! There's Wi-Fi in the study rooms in the basement as well as the individual common rooms.

The fourth floor of McKay couldn't either. I found a direct connection via ethernet to be a lot faster and more reliable though.

I heard there was a 2 GB bandwidth cap though, is that true?

I've heard that on here. But I was never specifically told about the 2GB cap.

2GB per day to outside network.

There is an on campus sharing network set up for residence students.
This does not count towards the bandwidth limit.
