You're pretty much on the right track! Be careful especially with the alcohol though.

My hair straightener reaches 210 (celsius) with no automatic shut-off. Water boils at 100 and most kettles have automatic shut-off's. It's definitely more hazardous to have a flat-iron (not that I don't use one).

I was just perusing the Alcohol policy and noticed something...

Anyone else notice there's a part of the alcohol policy that if it were a law would be considered unconstitutional?

"Injury to person(s) or damage to or destruction of property which is caused by or can
be shown to be related to the consumption of alcohol will be subject to disciplinary
action. The association of alcohol with problem behaviour shall not be seen as a
mitigating factor in the disciplinary process."
