Summer
hey so i just had a couple questions about the summer and whats open and whats not.
1) are there many people at mac over the summer.
2) would the courses i have on avenue right now still be there over the summer and into next year, or will they be removed... if they are removed by when do they take the courses down.
3) do any clubs or things run during the summer?
4) is there anyone on MI during the summer
5) im only taking one course so i have a lot of free time, where can i find really good biking/running trails near here. ( anyone have a map of them, ive been trying to find one but so far they have all been mediocre and not really accurate.
6) what are fun places to visit during the summer in hamilton. clubs, parks, anything..especially outdoorsy
....
if i think of more ill add them on
or if u have any feel free to ask.
thanks

1) A lot less
2) They're generally removed next term I think
3) Depends on the club; usually most club members aren't around
4) Lots, apparently
5) Bruce trail, and waterfront trail
6) Lots, can't be bothered to do research for you lazypants
edit: by clubs, do you mean drinking and dancing? I thought you meant groups

Dundas Valley. There are plenty of trails, and if you venture deep enough in, you'll find some good biking trails that are almost as good as singletrack. There is a map online and at the conservation area visitor centre. Coote's paradise is also worth exploring if you head towards the 403, but you're really on your own. There are several forks and it takes a few tries to find a good route. You'll be dismounting your bike often to cross trees and big ass logs.
As for your last bit about clubs, I hear that Hess village is nuts during the summer. I've also been told that it gets rough there at times, mountain kids vs. others.

Lmao, I've seen those horses a few too many times this year. At 77 one night, St. Paddy's of course, and 4 of them showed up to a huge house party that I was at/organizing during frosh week.

Mac Whitewater and the Outdoor club both organize a bunch of summer events - they might even have biking trips. You can bike on the rail trail (it starts just past Fortinos) to Dundas Valley.

I've heard it pretty quiet, as in not many events etc.
Still, great weather, free space, and patios!

This makes it sound like some sort of "The Hills have Eyes" shit goes down.
"And if you observe these creatures you'll see that the mountain tribe competes viciously with the valley tribe in the pursuit of females in the communal 'Hess Village', as they offer sustenance via the watering holes"
