i'm a student in life sicence I and i want to get into biochemistry program in the next year. i want to take 4 courses in term two and take the last one in summer school. 1 are there any possibilities that i cannot get into the course i want because it's full? 2 can i get into that program after taking summer school courses?(is summer school so late?) 3 if i want to drop some courses in Aug., can i get the 100% refund of my courses? how about the first week in school?

Technically all you need is 8 required courses to get into Biochem. I don't think you will be able to get into the program after summer school, especially not the specializations.

As long as you take all the required courses before summer school, you'll be fine. What you can also do is not take Physics 1B03 in the school year and instead take it during the summer. You'll be considered for admission into the program but you have to complete Physics 1B03 before the end of second year.

Hmm, after reading more of the Undergraduate Calendar I'm now unsure of what I just said. It says you have to complete Level I, but that would require 30 units... I would contact your academic adviser to be completely sure you can do what I stated above.

I'm not in Biochem so I wouldn't know, hopefully someone in biochem can answer your question.
