Summer school :(
Hi,
I was wondering how many courses you are allowed to take during the summer? I want to take a chemistry course in UTM but its 6 units, and i also want to take math which is another 6 units....is that possible?
And one more question..I was looking at the letter of permission guidelines and it says something about getting at least 60% for a transfer. What exactly does that mean? does that mean you have to get 60% or above to take it again? or does it mean when you take it again you need at least a 60% for it to count?
Thank you very much in advance!

Hi my friend told me that the mark is not recorded just pass or fail if you do courses at other schools for summer. Maybe that is what 60 % means..

also I heard that at UTM the courses are double the cost than the ones at mcmaster...

A course from another school needs to be equivalent to one at Mac. If their courses are 6 units it won't be equivalent to a course at Mac, but may be equivalent to TWO.

You can take up to three at Mac without special permission, but I'm not sure about other institutions. It is likely similar.

In order for the credit to be transferred to your records at Mac you need to achieve a 60% in the course from the other school. You will recieve a COMPLETED on your transcript.
