How many courses can you take in summer school per semester, if I'm in kinesiology and I take 4 courses the second semester instead of 5 and make up the 5th in summer school will I still be admitted to 2nd year kin?

You can take a maximum of 12 units for the entire summer.

Not sure if this is the case with Kin as well, but your entry into 2nd year Kin may be dependent on you completing that one course. Double check with the Dean's office in BSB 129, but as long as you pass the courses and maintain the minimum average needed, it shouldn't be a problem.

Definitely check with an academic councillor. I took courses over the summer and wasn't admitted into second year until mid-late august because of it. But it does depend on the program and the year.
