Summer School courses
Hi! Just wondering if anyone has any experience with 2nd year Health and Aging summer courses - what's the workload like?
Also, has anyone take SOCIO2Z03 as a summer course? What's it like?
Thanks!

Look up who's teaching it this summer on ratemyprofs. There are some terrible summer teachers at Mac.

Those courses seem very doable during the summer, especially health and aging. Check out the course outline and attend the first class to get a feel for it because we have a few days to drop add courses when summer school starts!

Yup, drop and add in summer is only 2 classes, 1 week.

You also need to find out what the room will be like in the summer. Much of the ventilation at Mac has been turned off for over a year now, and so for example HH 305 will be over 90F every day in the summer.

ITB AB102 can also get very hot and sticky - I was in there one night when a heavy rain passed through outside, and the humidity spiked in the space of minutes.

So if you're taking a summer course, go to the first class, and if the room is an oven on the first day then you can assume it will only get worse over the 6 weeks you have to be there.
