Summer School Fees
Hi, i am currently taking summer school and i was wondering if i am to late in dropping courses with out having to pay for them. For term 1 it says that the last day for registering, adding or dropping courses is May 4, and last day for cancelling courses without failure by default is May 30th. I dont know if i can still drop the course with out paying for it till May 30th. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

After May 4, you have to pay for it, but between then and some other date (maybe May 30?) the amount of money you get back decreases in increments. So, if you cancel now, you'll get a certain percent of the money back, but not all of it (whereas you would have got all of it back before May 4). May 30 is the last day to cancel without academic penalty, and May 4 is the last day to cancel without financial penalty. The fee schedule should be on the registrar's or student accounts' website.

Edit: Go here: http://www.mcmaster.ca/bms/student/index.htm
Then scroll down, and in the centre column, under the "Undergrad Course Cancellation Schedule" heading, click "Summer".
