After May 4, you have to pay for it, but between then and some other date (maybe May 30?) the amount of money you get back decreases in increments. So, if you cancel now, you'll get a certain percent of the money back, but not all of it (whereas you would have got all of it back before May 4). May 30 is the last day to cancel without academic penalty, and May 4 is the last day to cancel without financial penalty. The fee schedule should be on the registrar's or student accounts' website.
