I think that electives fill up quickly, so try to register for them like asap. If it's a regular course then it takes longer to fill up, unless it was a popular class (a class that a lot of people fail/drop/didn't get the chance to take during the school year).

I don't know, i am in the faculty of eng so i wouldn't know how popular these courses are. Someone from science can help you out, sorry :/
Last summer i registered for math 1zb3&1zc3 during the first week of summer school (when these courses where running) and i still got in, so i think that for math 1ls3 your fine to register whenever. Again, don't take my word on that, ask other upper year people.

I am in my 4th year and will have completed all the requirements for my degree. I would like to take 2 more classes in the first semester of summer school. Does anyone know if SOLAR will open up for me on Wednesday morning or if I need special permission or something because I have all my necessary requirements.

thanks in advance

That's a good question, to be honest I think it's best to talk to your academic advisor regrading this, and especially since you are in 4th year. I think it does open up for everyone, but just talk to your academic advisor, they will probably have some good information to put you on the right path.
