Switching into engineering from Waterloo
Hi everyone,

I'm currently studying chemical engineering at the University of Waterloo, and I'm considering switching to the same program at McMaster. Does anybody have any suggestions or insights into this process? My reasoning is because I'm chronically ill and McMaster doesn't require co-op, and I also hear that they are just much more accommodating to people with disabilities. Waterloo engineering says that my grades shouldn't be an issue - I'm just thinking more about how things work at McMaster and the process that is required on their end of things.

Thanks so much!

Hey, you might want to contact one of the Undergraduate advisors here:

http://www.eng.mcmaster.ca/about/peopleassocdean.html

Jeanne Hopkins or Sally Williams. I believe Sally Williams is in charge of first year undergrads.

Hope that helps
