is it okay to take math 1B03 before 1LS3, or should i take 1LS3 first?

I don't think it matters, one's linear algebra and the other is calculus. Plus neither is the requisite of the other.

No, it doesnt matter. Math 1B03 is not a prereq for Math 1LS3 and Math 1LS3 is not a prereq for Math 1B03. Both courses can be taken whenever they're offered.
When I took 1B03 this summer, there were some questions in the homework that involved calculus, but we were told we can skip it since it's not what we are learning. If you take 1LS3 before, great... but it's not needed for 1B03
