The Cossart Exchange is exciTED to invite McMaster students to come and be a part of its first big event, IgniTED, a live screening of the TED2010 Conference taking place in Long Beach California this February 10-13, 2010.

TED brings together the world's most fascinating thinkers and doers, who are challenged to give the talk of their lives on topics such as Technology, Entertainment, Design, science, business, and the arts. Please join us for this exclusive opportunity to hear what some of the world's most interesting people have to say about the global issues facing our world. With speakers ranging from Jamie Oliver to Bill Gates, the event is sure to be inspiring and engaging. For more information on what TED's all about visit www.ted.com

We are inviting students to come and view the live webcast of a session that is of interest to you, and we are reserving the first day (Wednesday February 10) of the
TED2010 program exclusively for students. Below is the Schedule of Sessions and Speakers.

If you, or a group of students, would like to come and view one of these sessions, please contact Ashley Lawrence at 905.548.0111 or e-mail her at [email protected] ntre.com to reserve your spot. Please include your name and your school in the e-mail.
TED rules only allow 10 viewers in the screening room at any given time, so reserve a spot today before it’s too late! Spots are given out on a first-come first-served basis, and you will receive a confirmation email. Only one spot can be reserved per person for the event. As well, we ask all viewers to arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled session to ensure your seat.

Where is The Cossart Exchange?

The Cossart Exchange is located in Unit 260B of Jackson Square, which is near the main food court and the Hamilton Public Library mall entrance. It is on the second floor, next to Liaison College. To access the Cossart Exchange, especially during after-hours, please enter through the King St. & McNab St. mall entrance by TD Canada Trust. Go left towards the food court, and then up the stairs that are near the Library entrance. We are right at the top of the stairs. A nearby elevator is also available for accessibility.
