Does anyone in Hamilton right now have a Telus phone plan?

Some people have been telling me that it drops calls in Hamilton. So that's not true in your experience?

Nope, very happy with it. And so are a couple of my friends who have it too.

Telus had major issues 3 years ago on campus since their network was getting over crowded (since they share with Bell - and bell users get priority). Last year the signal was better, however, there is barely any LTE. Infact, I do not get LTE on campus, only 3G/HSPA+ speeds, so its pretty much the same speeds are something like WIND mobile, which is much cheaper.

I don't know about that. Wind's 3G speeds were atrocious when I compared with them.

I'm inquiring about phone signal as opposed to data.

Most of my friends are on WIND and the only time you notice issues/differences is when we are on top floors of buildings like MDCL (they lose signal)

And yes, the issues i had a few years ago was in terms of phone signal. Its better now, but there are pockets on campus you get no bars (IE ITB AB102, Telus has 0 bars usually, Rogers usually has 1 bar)

Do the issues on the top floor of MDCL etc. still exist now?

Not with the top 3, usually only with WIND mobile
