TERRIBLE experience at Gino's
So I don't know if everyone is aware, but Little Caesars in Westdale closed sometime in December. This was a tragic loss for the community (well, mostly me), as their pizza was delicious, and inexpensive.

I was informed that all was not lost, because the Gino's across Main has $5 mediums as well. So I wandered on over there one night. To preface this, I've been to Gino's many times before and enjoyed it. I ordered a $5 medium and the guy gave it to me. I took it home, and it was the nastiest thing I had ever eaten. It was almost cold, super thin, didn't even taste like pizza... after half a slice I gave up and threw it out.

Has anyone else experienced this with their walk-in special? Or did I just run across a fluke?

Many years ago there was a Gino's pizza in Orangeville, and it was some of the foulest pizza I've ever eaten, I'll never go to Gino's again.

That's usually the quality with their walk in special. I personally find it is bearable for the cheap price, but no, it it is by no means good pizza.

Ya, thats the unfortunate part. For those of us living on the south side of campus (ie. Emerson, Broadway), there are no good places for pizza or arabic for that matter. Both Cedar, and Ginos suck ass...although I have to say Gino's "gourmet" pizzas taste okay.

haha. Like I said, I've always enjoyed Gino's (although I think I've only been to the one here maybe twice, normally I go to one in Waterloo), but this time was totally awful. Luckily for me I have access to non-bus vehicular transportation, and I have discovered the Little Caesar's in Dundas.

I am saved.

I usually don't find it that bad, and preferred it by a large margin to Little Caesar's. The crazy bread was awesome, but actual Little Caesar's pizza was terrible, and only worth getting when they had the pizza on sale for $3 (don't know if that happens in Hamilton ever, but it happened every few months in Bowmanville).

The walk in special applies to every one topping medium, but they have to make a non-pepperoni one special. If you don't get one of the pre-made peperoni ones and wait 15-20 minutes the pizza is much, much better.

haha, i just discovered the little ceaser's in dundas as well - even by bus its pretty convenient - the 5B or 52 dundas go right past it.

i was very sad when the little ceaser's in westdale shut down too lol. their crazy bread is sooo good!

Haha the same has happened to me as well. One time the pizza was so thin an entire medium felt like I only ate one slice. Another time the pizza was so hard and crusty I swear it was just sitting there for the entire day.
I still order there from time to time though, 2am+under the influence...everythin g tends to be delicious at that point.
