[TextBooks] Brief questions
What are the best places to get used/old books for a relatively cheap price? I'm kind of lost in this whole process. Also when is the best time to get your textbooks because I have heard many different times; for instance after your first class. but i also know some people who have already purchased their books.

help would be appreciated

Best place to get used books is here at MacInsiders:
http://www.macinsiders.com/forumdisp...191.html?f=191

When:
People say it's preferrable to buy it after the first day of your classes when the professor mentions what material is mandatory, what is optional, etc. If they don't mention it, after class quickly ask them and find out.

Good luck :3

I would recommend checking on online market places before going to the book store. You might find that your prefer the condition of these ones, you don't have that annoying USED BOOK sticker on them, and you can be sure they'll be cheaper.
I recommend MacInders Market place or Kijiji

Normally you can find books using this site as well. I noticed someone already replied about waiting for the first day of classes. There are plenty of students who advertise used books on macinsiders so you can start looking from there. Hope that helps!

This is one of the easiest places to find the books you need. Make sure your going to want to continue in the class before buying the book.
