Here's my timetable so far. I'm probably going to have to shift either the Bio lab or the Chem lab on Wednesday for Tuesday. Any feedback / advice that you may have ?

I was wondering where your Bio 1A03 lab is. It's a pretty good schedule overall. However, I would definitely move your Psych tutorial/core to another time. It's way too late in the evening and there's a ton of other sections you can choose from

Would it be better to move Chem over or Bio ? .. & I'm still unsure about the numbers that follow in the code. Should I try to get an even for the one on tuesday and an odd for the one on wednesday ?.. how does this work.. For psych I'm probably gonna try to shift it on the Friday for a morning slot. Hopefully, it'll be available.
Correction: Just noticed tht there rnt any psych cores on friday, maybe Thurs. evening.

Hey guys, could you check out my timetable for first year Life Sci and let me know how it is?

It's impossible to get into SOLAR right now, but if there's any important changes required, then I'll try getting on asap.

Thanks!

Edit: I just looked over my term 1 timetable. The timings for the chem L07 and T07 on thursdays overlap. :S Is that a conflict?

I'd really appreciate if the upper years can give me some feedback

I'm still hoping to switch the term 1 kines lab to Thur, psych core to Wed, chem tutor to TUE evening.
And also term 2 Chem C04->C01, PHY C04->C03, BIO->T05, chem lab to THUR evening.

but apparently i can't change any of them cuz it's full :(

Term 1:
If I were you I would change the Chem 1A03 lab from a morning, especially a Friday one! Also, I can't help but notice that you can totally get Friday off if you wanted to. You can move the Chem lab to Wednesday morning which isn't ideal, but MUCH better than a Friday one. And move your Physics tutorial to say T01 on Tuesday. Sure your days will be a little heavier, but having a day off will definitely be an advantage if you use it well! Also, instead of having 4 classes in a row on Monday, why not move your Psych tutorial to before or after your 2 classes on Wednesday. ITB is very close to PC so maybe C58, C67 or C70?

Term 2:
It's pretty good overall, especially since there is almost no 1-hour breaks. Personally though, I don't like having night class especially one that's 6.5 after your morning classes which include an 8:30 class. I'd just be really tired by then, so I would go with C03 during the day, but if you can use the 6 hours well, then definitely keep it

Term 2:
I like this term a little more, because everything is compact and you have 10:30 mornings! No other comments really. I tried to move around a few tutorials, but there isn't that many to choose from, so the way you have it is probably more ideal.

I had to change Term 2 because I took Labr St as a back up because Geog 1HA3 was full! Prof. Mercier reserved a spot for me even though I'm in Computer Science, so I took it. The only problem with Prof. Mercier is that all of his classes are from 8:30-9:20 for both Geog 1HB3 and Geog 1HA3 so now I don't have all classes starting from 10:30 A.M. :(

Revised Term 2 below:

Also the labs are more like tutorials for both classes people have been saying.

I really don't recommend having a morning Chem lab, but since your schedule is pretty rigid, I would move the Bio lab to the morning Thursday section and move Chem to Tuesday afternoon. An alternate solution would be to switch the chem core to C03 which would free up your Friday afternoon lab slot altogether, so you can avoid the morning. However, Friday afternoon is not ideal either, however, go with what you prefer! Also for your Psych tutorial, I would suggest moving it to Monday after your Kin lecture. That way, you'll have the weekend to watch the lecture and it frees up two 1-hour breaks. That way you have more time to read over your lab, grab something to eat, etc.

This is much better in my opinion. When you're done your classes early, it's a lot better than finishing at 4:30 or 5:30 with including Labour Studies 1A03. That way you're finishing at 12:30 or 1:30 most days and your 1-hour breaks are minimized so it's definitely a lot better. You'll just have to push yourself a little bit to get to the 8:30 classes on time!

Thank you very much for the advice! You told me to see if I can move the Geog lab in the morning in term 1 and put it underneath my two classes on Monday, and I have done so (10 min gap between philos and geog lab). Thank you once again !
