Question 1: I have no tutorials on my schedule for econ, is that normal? bare in mine I took the evening class.
Question 2: When I move my CMST tutorial on the 11th I will have 3 back to backs, is this manageble or should I just switch my inquiry to a different day.
Question 3: Has anyone taken an inquiry class? do you think I would benefit from it or would it be better if I took labour studies to spread my classes through the week?

Go to www.mugsi.mcmaster.ca
on the left hand side, under student applications
click undergraduate timetable (?) then log in.. and you'll see your timetable there.

I'm soon to be going into my first year in the Arts and Science program. Even though I dont have that much flexibility in my schedule, I was wondering if people had any advice.
Is Goward a better chemistry teacher than Landry? Those are my only 2 options for chemistry. The Landry class is at 5:30 3 times a week, directly after my calculus class. The Goward class would be in the middle of my current 3 hour breaks, and would be Friday at 4:30. Neither time slot is ideal.
As well, are very heavy Mondays death wishes? I was thinking of moving my calculus lab to Monday in order to have all of Thursday to work until 4:30, but I'm wondering if a heavy Monday means no life on weekends...
Is having a tutorial the hour before the actual class useless, or useful?
And what are the green horizontal stripes through a block?
ANY help would be appreciated!

Argh, this is really annoying me. I can't get the time table to fit into one clean screenshot. How's everyone else doing it ?

Hi again,
If i change my chem lab in term1 to tuesday(with the same time as it is on monday), would this improve my schedule. ALso, is it there anything else that i should change inorder to make things less stressfull for me. Btw is it advisable to have a 3hr bio lab right before a 3hr french lecture(Wednesday term 1).

Your first point is totally up to you. It doesn't make much of a difference. Improvement in this case is completely subjective. Some people like 8:30 labs while others prefer 2:30 labs. Some like labs on Mondays while others like labs on Fridays.
I wouldn't recommend your second point though. 6 hours straight with only 1 break (and maybe one in the middle of french) is pretty brutal. I don't think anyone has that kind of attention span.

I have a class with a tutorial ending at 19:00, and the actual class starting at 19:00. It's in the same building, but would it be a smart idea to try and change this tutorial around? Or is this a conflict?

It's not a conflict. Is it for different courses?

No, it's for the same class, in the same building but it's in different rooms.

The TAs will most likely end tutorial 5-10 minutes earlier. They know you have to get to class. The teacher might also start teaching a couple minutes later. The professors aren't evil.
