about the conflist in term 1, i plan to change that conflicting bio lab with one on thursday (same time), so any one of L09, all the way to L16 would work...I'm fairly confident that I can get the conflict sorted out by Sept.
I'm also wondering if i should replace Linguist 1A03 with HLTH AGE 1bb3, any opinions on that?
Other than that, do you think it's a bad idea to cram all the classes from Mon-Thurs, and take Fridays off? (looking at term 1)

If there's a conflict they will tell you, right? So, my chem lab and tutorial aren't a problem right?
It says:

ABB 122A
14:30 - 17:20
EOW
CHEM 1AO3 T68
ABB 136

here's my timetable. the white bolded boxes are what i want to switch to.
im not sure if i want to switch commerce 2ma3 to first term or not.
i can get rid of an annoying 3 hour evening lecture, but at the cost of added workload during first term.
can anyone who took this course before tell me how busy it gets?

You don't need to ask twice, lol. That doesnt help anything You can log on to the master timetable (just type 'mcmaster master timetable' in google and it shows up), search for your course, and once your find it pinpoint which core you're in and the prof is beside it. for tutorials and labs you dont know until you get there. You can then go to ratemyprof.com and see who it is, or look at the reviews here, if you want.
You dont know how to change your timeslots on the timetables? I'm pretty sure that came in with your 'introductory package', since you are in first year. There are many threads on that, you could search one. Long story short, go to mugsi.mcmaster.ca, sign in to mugsi, click the SOLAR link, and the find the course you want, add/drop etc. You can see the other sections in your course using the master timetable.

Copy it into word or excel, take a screenshot, or print it to PDF.

1) I dont know about the "no instructor" thing. You should contact the Office of the Registrar and tell them this. Even if they cant help, calling someone usually gets you forwarded to the person who can .
Term 1: looks ok, except you have 6 hours straight of class on tuesday. Generally, more than 4 hours of class at a time is brutal, so it's better to separate it, if you can.
Term 2: Same thing with monday, separate it if you can.
Other than that, it looks like you've got breaks for lunch, and if you can get rid of those annoying 1hr breaks, which are useless except for lunch and breaks between long blocks of classes, then that would make it perfect.
Good luck!

The no instructor thing means the course hasn't been assignned to a professor yet

Or it means that the MTT hasn't been updated yet or the department hasn't told the registrar who is teaching the course. Contacting the department is the best way to get the fastest answer.
