Tips
Hi guys,
A friendly tip for all the first years :
You can tape your schedule on the inside of your notebook(5 subject or 3 subject) so that you don't loose it.

Also, it helps to highlight lectures, labs and tutorials in different colours on it.

This way, you only need to flip your notebook cover to know where you're going.
Oh, and carry a building guide with you the first couple of weeks(print off the one here, on Macinsiders and a map)

Have a good Welcome Week!

xo.monica, xxsumz, _Luu_, ~*Sara*~ all say thanks to adrian for this post.

You can also get a map of campus at any library location. It's a little booklet with all the buildings labelled with most of the short forms shown as well. Good for putting in your wallet thing you get for res.

I loved that little map! It's small and you won't look silly holding a big map walking around campus. I used to give them out to first years last year when I CA-ed and everyone seemed to find them useful. You can get them at Compass too!

The floor tiles in the basement of the buildings in the Arts Quad (KTH [Kenneth Taylor Hall], CNH [Chester New Hall], and TSH [Togo Salmon Hall]) are colour coded to help you find your way around.

I believe TSH is black and KTH is green, although I'm not 100% sure on that.

I remember in first year I would always check the virtual map online to find my classes haha.
