I end up spending so much money at titles without noticing cause you can put it on the student card. Also got myself some skully candy.. it's cheaper at titles I find.

Omgosh I have the same problem. Everytime I go there, I have to buy something. >.< I wish their sweaters were a bit cheaper though. I think it's like 52 bucks or so.

Those jackets are only for Eng students.

You use your Student Card as a Credit card. Interest is calculated at the end of the month but I'm pretty sure September doesn't count. So interest starts on October 31st.

I know it is almost exclusively Engineering students who have those leather jackets but I've definitely seen at least one non-Engineering student with one. They had a McMaster History leather jacket actually. They were a TA though and therefore a Grad student so I don't know if that's different.

As for those leather jackets though even though they look cool I think they are somewhere in the neighbourhood of $400.

Actually most programs at Mac used to have those same jackets, with the different program names and the appropriate symbol(s). It's just Engineering which has maintained this old tradition. You can see in the old yearbooks from the 1950's and 1960's almost every program has guys wearing those jackets.

We have these "Melton Jackets" that are somewhat similar to the Eng Jackets and don't have any faculty writing on it.

I think we had those for half off last year, but there's no saying that it would be repeated this year. Regardless, they look really nice.
