trouble deciding what to do?
I'm in first year social sci, and I'm completely lost... I don't even know what program I want to go into and I think the deadline is April 30, 2014. I want to register for summer courses too, but I will be retaking 2 courses I did not do too well in (bio 1M03 and psych 1X03, both in which I got a D in...) as well as some other 2nd year courses... Only thing is that I don't know which 2nd year courses I want to take, cause I don't know what program I want to major in. All I know is that I want to hopefully apply to med school in 4th year. This is my number one choice-- or my plan A. I need a plan B, and I don't know what. I've even considered maybe switching out of the soc sci faculty and get into commerce maybe... and hopefully I can minor in something related to commerce such as accounting or whatever.

Main thing is, I WANT to get into med school. I know that I can still apply to a med school even though I'm not in a science-based program. I took psych 1X03 and 1XX3 because I was considering maybe majoring in PNB but I'm so unsure, and I'm so worried. I need desperate help.

What do I do??!

Why would you apply to socsci if you want to get into med school?

Because, my academic advisor told me that you didn't need to be in a science based program if you wanted to apply to med school later on. Also, you can still take bio, chem, biochem, (etc.) as electives while youre enrolled in the socsci program. It doesn't matter apparently. So I can take bio and chem, as well as social sci courses such as sociology, health and aging, etc.
