Yes, mine was quite a bit more than I expected...but, then, I'm overloading, so it might be that...

But isnt there a max amount of units they charge you for (i.e. for eng its 33 but you take 37 units), idk 33% increase seems pretty high for nothing out of it lol

Yea it definitely has gone up a lot this year. I've calculated a 7% increase for 3rd year eng. WTF MAC...
I don't think any of the eng ones were 217 last year though...

Also if you're in engineering you pay for a max of 33 units. If you're in anything else its a max of 30 units.

The management ones were 217 last year, and in the summer it was 227 which isn't a large increase, but now i get a 33% increase... which is definitely not right.

Yea that doesn't sound right. Sounds like you might be paying for regular second year eng or something. Try emailing your Kelly Lyth maybe?

EDIT:
Also, does anyone know what the tuition per unit for third year eng is this year? I have 278 according to my payment agreement. If this is right then it's really messed up considering the tuition for first year eng was 279 per unit last year...

Yeah I did. They told me that eng mgmt was out of "step" with regular eng so they did in fact increase it 33 percent this year to match that of regular eng. Also compared to first year eng, level 2 mgmt is 3.5 percent higher.

Also, for this year there was a large boost in all of the engineering tuition, I don't know the exact amount but apparently engineering will be significantly higher this year. Great!

Yeah I ended up getting accepted into Elec & Management as well. But now that I see that the price is this much higher than expected, I think I'm just gonna go for straight Electrical.

So the 33% increase wasn't a mistake?!? And why did my tuition go up 7%?!?! Isn't it usually 4% or less?? Isn't tuition supposed to decrease for you each year!?!??!
Why do they keep increasing fees so much every year?! ARE WE NOT PAYING ENOUGH!!?!

WHAT THE MAC!!!!

Yup! After having the program for over 40 years now they figure out it's not the same -.- Yeah it should be less. If they were using it to actually improve the program then that would be understandable but simply saying its out of "step" is a pretty lame excuse to increase it 33%. I agree with Albert too, I think one of the reasons why people go into management is because of less tuition.
