Tutorials and Labs
Hi,

I was just wondering about how tutorials and labs alternate. For a course like chemistry, will there be a week where I have both a tutorial and a lab? Or is it that one week I will have the lab and the next week I'll have the tutorial?

I noticed that my current timetable scheduled my tutorial and lab on the same day sharing a similar time slot so I wanted to make sure I understood how my schedule works instead of making assumptions.

Thanks a lot!

One week you have the lab and the next week you will have the tutorial, they alternate like that till the semester ends. You will never have them both in the same week. Btw, chem tutorials are not mandatory.

Question: How do I know when I go to my Lab/Tutorial? Does that make sense?

In first week of classes, the prof will let you know if "even" or "odd" sections go first, so if the even section has labs the first week, then the odd sections have the tutorial that week, then they alternate. The even and odd is determined by your tutorial/lab number.
