Uncensored At Mac
Hey Mac

Its come to our attention that spotted at mac (a page we all love) has a fair amount of censorship. In response to this we've created Uncensored At Mac, a place where anonymous posters can be more free in the ideas they wish to express.

Its my hope that this page becomes a hub for interesting conversation within and beyond the Mac community.

Now we want to be clear, although we welcome controversial topics we will not publish posts that are inflammatory JUST to be inflammatory. Ultimately this is a subjective call, however we pledge to air on the side of publishing rather than not.

**Note you can also make anonymous comments by specifying the post or comment you wish to reply too.**

Rules:
1) No spamming

2) No inflammatory posts FOR THE PURPOSE of being inflammatory

3) No comments simply tagging a friend

4) No "shoutout" posts -> EX: to the blond girl in second floor mills, hi.

Like the page, and we welcome your feedback !

So how is it going to be different from what you have now?

Also, the reason why the page is moderated, is because it's a mass media resource, and they don't want to lose McMaster's face because of people polluting the page with crap.

I think rules 2-4 certainly make a distinction from whats availuble now, most saliently rules 3 and 4 (look at the comments for any posts).

Wrt rule 2 In my experience, and that of others, alot of posts that are even mildly and i mean mildly controversial never see publishing so i would question how many of the posts we dont see are "crap" and how many would have lead to something interesting

You bring up a fair point about loosing mcmasters face, but again im not so sure what percentage of posts being cut out are crap

Anywho we appreciate the feedback
