Unused Mealplan money
Hey everyone. I noticed that on my mealplan, most of the money was in my basic account but 200 dollars of it was in my freedom. I have heard that you can get them to send you a cheque back for 200 and was wondering how I'd go about doing that? Thanks

not sure about the cheque but I know your freedom money gets carried over to next year, so unless you're graduating, you might as well leave it there ( http://hospitality.mcmaster. ca/mea...2010-2011.html end of bullet 11).
I would go to the meal plan office near where centro is on the first floor about the cheque.

i know that you have to write a written request for them to transfer the money to your student account, and then you ask them to send you a cheque..but i was wondering if there's a certain form to fill out for this request? or do you just write up a request? and where would you send this request to?

Um at the end of the year, I went to that office place on the first floor of Commons/Centro, signed like one thing, and got a cheque in the mail eventually.

Freedom money stays on ur card until like 2014.. Just leave it there and use it for the rest of your time at mac.
