Urgent macbook Pro Adapter for HDMI
Hello All

So I have a presentation and In the room I am presenting there are no computers so i have to take my laptop. I have a Macbook Pro and I wanted to know does anyone know which adapter I need to connect it to class projector. The room I am presenting is in BSB and it has one of those cupboards that open up and you can attach the wire with your computer.

Thanks
Take Care

Mini-DVI to VGA or Mini displayport to VGA. It's displayport if it's a newer Macbook, but you should google these two terms to determine which you have. You're unlikely never to need to adapt to HDMI, DVI, RGB, RS232, so invest in whatever you have to VGA.

edit: unless you plug into your home TV or something.
edit2: you can buy these things at Titles, helps to have your computer with you if you're a computer tard
edit3: you actually know it needs HDMI? Are you 100% sure of this (sorry, I'm tired)

Try emailing it to yourself and using the room computer. You can get mDP to HDMI or VGA at canada computers and possibly titles. Note MOST comps on campus use VGA.

You really need to get one of these for school. Such is result of getting a macbook.

Hey I used to work for AV.

You need a VGA adapter for your macbook. Depending on the model you will either need a 'mini-display port to VGA' or 'mini DVI to VGA.' Your best bet is just to bring your macbook to titles and make sure you get the right one.

When you get to the room connect the adapter to the cable. In the box there will be a Matrox switch, select the button that says Laptop/Computer it will automatically turn on the projector and select the Macbook as the input.
