moderate exercise during the day. drink hot milk with honey in it (milk has amino acid tryptophan, sugar cause body to release insulin, insulin turns tryptophan into serotonin, which is the hormone that makes ppl sleepy). always...or try to sleep and wake up at the same time everyday.don't study in your bedroom, only reverse that space for sleep...or bedroom designed activities. watch a light tv show about half an hour prior to bed time.
hope that helps...

Kangs6 pretty much said it all. I find exercise helps out a lot and trying to have the same amount of sleep every day (i.e. go to bed and wake up at the same time everyday). Also, try to avoid those accidental naps as much as you possibly can, sure they're nice once in a while, but if your sleeping pattern is already messed up, they're not a good idea. As for the sleeping pills, try the methods that don't involve pills first, you don't want your body to get used to sleeping only when you take a sleeping pill.

Definitely try the methods listed here before attempting to get a prescription for a medical sleeping pill. I can verify that they work really well. My roommate is on them and managed to sleep through a fire alarm..

Ugh.

Thanks for all the advice.

I'm going to steer away from those Milks suggestion though. Water and Honey by it self, will it still work?

I tried to stay up as much as I can. Got to about 5 am and some how I accidentally nap and missed my Tutorial.

Exercising... That could be a option.

I do a lot of surfing on my bed. I will try to correct that and make it only for sex and sleep.

I guess my body defense mechanism is a lot better than your. It shuts it self down when it is in danger.

Best way to fall asleep.... Use a fan. Blocks out noise and the makes you feel disconnected from the outside world. Hard to explain just try it for about a week or 2 and you'll know what i mean.

You should try taking multivitamins if you're having sleep problems. I noticed that after I started taking multivitamins I slept better.
Also, you can try taking melatonin. Its an over the counter sleeping pill. Melatonin is a hormone the body produces in response to moonlight that helps you go to sleep (or something along those lines).

+1 on the exercise. I'd be completely off the night after going to gym and had a warm shower.
