does everything we pack have to be in some specific size cardboard box, with our name or some other information in it?


Im actually really confused right now. Can't i just bring a suitcase with all my stuff in it? do i HAVE to bring some cardboard box? I dont get it

Can anyone please help me? I read somewhere that the box had to be some specific size with some specific things written on it...

back when i was in rez, we could pack our stuff in whatever we wanted, and just made sure our name, rez and room number was clearly labelled on it, that should be fine.

Cardboard boxes are just easier to dispose of. If you bring plastic bins and suitcases then you have to lug them back to the car or keep them in your room. That's why a lot of students opt for cardboard boxes since they can be collapsed or recycled.

That being said, you can pack your stuff in whatever you want as long as it has your name on it. Whatever you put your stuff in, just make sure it has a lid/top/etc which closes and can be sealed with tape or some sweaty-palmed Rep might just slip and send your stuff tumbling loose down a stairwell

pack in whatever you want, just make sure you label it with your name and room number!
