Voicemail Question
Whenever I leave people voicemails they never seem to receive them on their cell phones. I record my message after the beep, and hang up the phone when I'm done.

Am I doing something wrong? Do I have to press something when I'm done?

You have to press the first 100 digits of pi.

You're supposed to wait after recording to hear another beep or sound, then a robotic voice asks you to confirm/redo/etc your message with numeric commands.

How does it know I'm done recording?

It doesn't. There's just a time limit to recordings.

Weird. So I just sit there and wait? How long do you have to wait for?

Back in the day, I just hung up and they got the message.

Pretty much, never really timed it so I don't know exactly how long, but a few seconds maybe...

If they don't answer the phone, hang up and send a text. I hate having to dial my voicemail number, enter my password, press 1 twice to play the message, then it's just a stupid friend with some unimportant shit.
