I highly recommend joining CVA as a volunteer! I facilitated a volunteer group at the Eva Rothwell after-school program for two years during my time at McMaster and still believe that it was the best experience I had while at school. I cannot put into words how much that placement changed me as a person and helped me focus on what I wish to do with my life.

So, MIers, if you have an extra few hours during either semester I think you should give it a shot. I promise that it will be a wonderful experience.
