They have applications and interviews during the year. That's really all I know...

They're pretty early...like, Jan-Feb or something, I believe. The application can be found online (the FYEO website, I think).

The rep applications on FYE website are for rez reps specifically, so that's where you apply to be a rez rep.

To be a faculty rep, applications are typically done through faculty societies- so merc67 I seen ur in social psych- which I assume is Social Sciences, so you would apply through the MSSS (McMaster Social Sciences Society), and Maroons and SOCS have their own applications, interviews, and auditions.

SOCS rep applications are due the week after reading week in february followed by interviews that same week (at least that's how they did it last year) and Maroons have their rep applications in March I believe.

I don't know if they'll be posting it on their website (http://www.socs.ca/) but there's a newsletter you can sign up for on there and maybe they'll send you updates through that about SOCS events. I know during Welcome Week (in previous years) they have had a HUGE banner hanging in the atrium of the student center showcasing their schedule for the week - you can't miss it!

That banner is such a good idea, hopefully they do it again.
