I was so excited when I heard that. I just cant imagine that many people fitting into one space to see alexis. I heard the rumors and played them off because I thought it was impossible.

Oh. And about the other questions. The tuesday show is offered to anyone, with nobody checking MacIDs at the gates etc (... well.. no gates). The Saturday concert will be treated a lot more different with proper security and stuff. Alexisonfire is also bringing their own security (AKA no more student security) so things will be locked up tight. If you have plans to tell your friends from other schools about AOF, I suggest you stow them as nobody is getting in without a student card.

So just out of curiosity, are they using the usual venues? That is, the Tuesday night concert outdoors in Faculty Hollow, and the Saturday one in the Ivor Wynne Centre? Or are they both outdoors now? (I thought I heard rumblings about that... and geez, I don't even go there anymore and I knew who was playing a few weeks ago :p)

The Saturday one will be outdoors as well.

They stopped using IWC in 2006 because the sound is CRAP. Or at least I hope that's the reason.

Ohhh, right, I do recall someone telling me they were both outdoors last year, my bad. And yeah, the IWC was a horrible, horrible venue, glad to see WW concerts have been banished from it.

yeah, and while alexisonfire is there, ask dallas if he'll come play some city and colour at quarters one night !!

I sincerely doubt it.

He's too big...and would ask for too much money.
