I know the answer is probably no, but are we allowed to bring a non-mcmaster student guest?

No
The only times you're not allowed to bring a guest is during Welcome week and during exam time.

You could technically bring a guest, but they would have to find accommodations outside of residence.

do you mean to the events. I guess the free events, why not? Not like anyone can really stop you
