West Village Suites- Good place to live?
Would anyone recommend living there? Any thoughts or opinions on the place would be greatly appreciated.

Its a nice place to live in but the management is beyond stupid, I would not recommend it. Internet is slow, goes out when they decide to randomly upgrade it, they come in your room randomly without giving notice. Dont live here

the only good thing about it is that your own room will be a good size. everything else sucks and if your roommates suck, have fun.

Would not recommend living there, the management is not exactly intelligent with their decisions regarding the internet and the infrastructure. Not to mention the fact that the rent was increased in conjunction with the loss of several services such as the cleaning one so no point in paying a premium price for a standard experience.

yeah i concurr from the above things said. Heard it was a shit place to live, and it's really far. You'd have to always bus back and forth from school, unless you don't mind a sketchy 25-30 min walk one-way. not recommended from things i've heard from friends. (Her apartment got infested with cockroaches and it took management 3 months to do something about it - horrible).

its a 10-15 min walk to the edge of campus, 15-20 to mdcl, and about 25-30 to tsh. The people working there told me 10 minutes max to get to campus, which is technically true but you would be at the edge of the campus

I've heard its slightly better to live in the student centre than to live in this place.
With your mac tution, you get free showers anyways! Yay! And hydro is free too! Just pull up to a socket!

Please don't live here. Management is horrible an it's so overpriced. Honestly every apartment building is cheaper than this place. Management was rude and when I got sick they wouldn't let me leave, and were incredibly rude to me. They cancelled cleaning services and lied to us about it when moving in. Worst place I've ever lived in my personal opinion. I hope you choose a place other than West Village Suites to live in..

I would highly advise AGAINST living at West Village Suites.
First of all, the management is horrible and they are a bunch of liars. For example, before I signed my lease, I was told that we would have cleaning services to maintain the bathrooms and common spaces (something that could justify the high price). However, upon moving in, me and my roommates learned that they had taken out the cleaning services and were aware that they would be getting rid of them much before any of us had signed our leases; they just lied so that we would live there. In addition, the manager is extremely rude and is extremely unhelpful. I've also heard others in the building with the same complaints. Honestly, you'd probably be better off commuting or something.
