Why are you posting on here instead of entertaining me while I'm bored?

I personally believe that Hamilton is a pretty boring place. But I wouldn't really be happier going to school in Toronto or Montreal.
There's a fair number of interesting/acceptable restaurants and clubs, but shopping and entertainment is really pretty mediocre.

He walked by my house the other day walking Jasper and saw me, and stopped to chat. Gonna miss his lectures with Karate Kid clips, Frisky Dingo, and manbearpig. Hopefully He's just as awesome in Classics 1B03.

Oh he's pretty amazing in that too - I had it 1st-term last year. Not as involved with the class since it's way bigger than Greek, but he still manages to crack everyone up.
And yes, Frisky Dingo will be missed. (Best last day of class ever)

I'm not a huge fan of Hamilton to be honest. There's not a lot to do, unless if you're a club/bar hopper in which case you're set for downtown. I do like Westdale and areas west of McMaster but they're just nice, and not a whole lot to do. There are decent restaurants though. :]

I'm gonna ask a dumb question. Is there any good bookshop, apart from Titles, around? In Hamilton? More than one?
I mean, there's bound to be, but...

Well, Chris mentioned Bryan Prince Booksellers in Westdale, which is somewhat close to the school. I'm not sure if its the same one I'm thinking of, but there's a used book store nearby the candy shop in Westdale as well. I looked around and they didn't have the greatest selection, but part of the fun with used bookstores is finding something unexpected.
There's also a Chapters in Meadowland, which is a bus ride or so away. Or if you get lost on the way there it could involve a long walk in the rain as well... (Remember that Entropy? :( )
But at this point, since Amazon delivers everywhere, there really isn't an area that doesn't have a good bookstore.

Naw, I can't remember the name of the used book store, but its not Bryan Prince. His shop is right beside the Pita Pit, but its tucked into the facade a little, so its hard to see from the route most of us take (King West onto Sterling). For future reference, Bryan Prince Booksellers is 1060 King Street West. Definitely check it out...
Bookstores abound in the Hammer, with a Coles in Jackson Square and Limeridge as well as the aforementioned Chapters in the Meadowlands. Generally, Titles has almost every kind of book you can imagine, though, from popular fiction and poetry to biographies and historical works.
So no need to worry. If you want a good bookstore, take your pick.
