In this respect, distasteful works.

The "I like it on..." statuses aren't actually related at all to breast cancer awareness. It's purely to mess with people.

I'm still not sure why people think we even need to be more aware of breast cancer. It's very unfortunate that some people have suffered/will suffer/know someone who's suffered from it. But to me, it sounds like "breast cancer awareness" is just an arbitrary tag the people who started this stuck on in an attempt to make this sound like it's for a good cause, when in reality, they're just attention whores.
It's not like anyone over the age of say, 12, is gonna be like "Holy shit, there's a breast cancer!?", or "Oh, breast cancer. I forgot that's around."
We know it exists. We know it sucks. We don't need to be made more aware, so stop trying to make yourself seem like saints just because you're trying to promote awareness.
(The above parargraph wasn't directed to anyone here, more so to the people who started the fad.)

People wouldn't know about breast cancer at all if the awareness campaign hadn't started! It's hugely publized now, and so it should be.

I was told that it was where girls like to leave their purses by one of my female friends. I have no idea how anyone might think this is about breast cancer. Pink ribbons = breast cancer, "I like it in the closet" =/= breast cancer.
I'm guessing by all the discussion that's going on here, especially by the girls, that no one was sent the orignal message (n you inbox) on facebook. The original message reads:
Ok ladies here's another game, like the bra color game which was a total success and we had men wondering for days what was with the colors and it made it to the News!
Well this game has to do with your handbag, where we put our handbag the moment we get home for example "I like it on the couch", "I like it on the kitchen counter", "I like it on the dresser" well u get the idea.
Just put your answer as your Status with nothing more than that and cut n paste this message and forward to all your FB female friends to their inbox. The bra game made it to the news. Let's see how powerful we women really are!!!
Hopefully this clears things up! And I can't believe none of you girls got the original message!

Who the hell doesn't/didn't know about breast cancer? Is there anyone past a grade 2 education who isn't aware of this?
