So, if you are one of the many students who did not get the electives you wanted, hopfully this thread can help. Post here the courses you want (as electives) and the courses you currently have (the courses you will drop if you get your electives). Maybe you'll find someone else here who wants something you currently have, and who currently has something you want! I know the chances of that might be slim, but it doesn't hurt to try
For example, I desperately DESPERATELY want Classics 1B03 and 1M03.
For these two subjects I will be giving up Geog 1HA3 and Envir Sci 1G03, both said to be really REALLY easy courses. How's that for a deal? :p

So, if you're thinking of droping those courses make sure you let me know ASAP!!

You know, you get your Math 1A03. Since, it's a requirement they will open seats for you.

for life sci, it's LS3 or A03 right? so if A03 is full don't i have to be in LS3?

Well, you can choose if you want to be in 1A03 or 1LS3. No, you don't have to be 1LS3. I asked an Academic Advisor at my START session and she opened a seat for me. Try calling the Academic Advisors and see what they say

really the academic advisor opened a seat for you? I went to the academic advising session for life sci and the ppl there told me to go to hamilton hall which is the math department and i went there and they didn't rly do much for me...T_T

and what did you ask them? you just said you need to be in math A03 and they opened up seat for you?
