I'm in Whidden 427 for next year. It's a single room, but I'm an upper year that's why.
If you're C that probably means it's a triple and from the triples I've seen it's 1 bunk bed and 1 loft thing where it's just the top bed and your desk is underneath that. C might be that bed, I'm not 100% sure. I'm not sure if that's how all triples are, I just know the ones in Hedden were like that last year from seeing friend's rooms.
They told us last year the letter you are corresponds to your phone in the room so your phone would be on your desk. Once you get in there if you really don't want to sleep on a top/bottom bunk you can always try asking your roommate if they wouldn't mind switching where you sleep and if they're fine with sleeping on either they might switch with you.
I've never seen inside of Whidden actually so I'll have to look at the pictures provided. I'm curious about it now, where's that person who was in the Residence Picks threads pumping up Whidden?

C is indeed the loft bed in Whidden.
I'm one of the people that lived in Whidden and pumped it up...

Can you tell me about the washrooms? The showers in particular. I've never seen inside so I'm just curious how the communal washrooms are. Like are there just curtains for the showers or doors?

The washrooms have three stalls, three shower stalls (with curtains), and a tub (also with a shower curtain).

I'm pretty sure due to previous hisory the balconies have been locked. And I can't recall the answer to your second question, sorry!

As C-person, I'd actually prefer the loft...actually I'm sure my roommates would too since I do not sleep soundly at all (rollin' all over the place).
Which wings in Whidden are Substance-Free / All Female this year? And where is room 448 in respect to these.

so... i'm so sorry i dont get this, but could someone explain it again? i know the triple has a bunk and a loft. so i'm guessing the bunk includes the bunk (top) and bottom bed? A is top, B is bottom? And person C gets the 'loft' bed, which is somewhere else? like... only the top bunk but of another bed, with something else underneath them?
if only there were more pictures on the housing site...

The anything ending in 24 or 26 has a balcony (floors 2-4 anyways). BUT you're no longer able to access them. They are locked.
The basement of Whidden is always all female. Last year the fourth floor was substance free, but I can't say I know what it is this year. In previous years (04-05, 05-06) it was third floor.

yeah the basement does tend to be all girls... which is why it's rather peculiar that stevennevets is in the basement. Maybe they finally changed it!! I really disliked the idea of an all girls basement in Whidden
