There is macconnect in some areas (I never used macsecure so idk about that). Try the hallway with all the tables in it, I never had any problems connecting there.
The other networks are profs' private ones either for their office or (more likely) for their labs. They're not supposed to be for general use, and if a lot of people find out the password and start using it, the password would get changed.
