I use that to edit my songs. You can just highlight everything and remove all the covers. After that you can manually add the covers by finding the cover online and dragging/dropping followed by saving the tag.

I tried Mp3tag and it seems none of my songs have covers anyway.
For some reason, WMP is showing a generic cover for all my songs, is there simply a way to turn it off in WMP 11?

Hmm, if that doesn't work then I can't really help you. I don't use WMP at all...
