Yes, DC++ is like Limewire, but much much better.
You may get a sheet in the mail with the rest of your res info with an order form for a fridge. If not, they have the sheets during move-in for you to fill out.
To be honest, all I really know is that they are mini fridges (if there are two sizes). The one I had was about three feet tall, with a teeny freezer and three shelves.
Yes, the IKEA trip is during class time on friday this year. The IKEA is technically on the border of Hamilton and Burlington; I suggest looking under Burlington.

Haha. To my knowlege, no. At least, not all of them.
I think some are 3/4 length (the newer residences; Hedden ('91) and later), while the rest are bathroom vanity-sized.

Are the mirrors in your rez room in Woodstock full length? No. They are on a cabinet door, shoulder height, get your shoulders up I'd say...
As for fridges... definitely look into doing some shopping around online with FutureShop (they sell mini fridges!.. dang I love that store too much lol), you can try Ikea, Leons, Sears, Home Depot, etc.
I recommend looking for them through classifieds, since you'll get a great price. Sometimes bar fridges pop up on the Facebook Marketplace, kijiji.ca, or Craigslist

I don't know. They did three and two years ago for sure. I'm not sure about last year (as I was a WW Rep for an apartment-style res, which was different than the traditional style I lived and repped for the previous years) or this year though. If you are getting a fridge in your room, there should be information in your residence package.

In years previous, the MAC ID would come in mid-August, and res info came at the end of July. Because the way residence is doing things has changed this year, I don't really know!
However, you will (or, at least SHOULD) have it by the end of August.
