how would dropping course with osap work?
I have a full course load, but want to drop one course.. would that affect the amount of osap I got? Would I be able to take an extra elective in third or fourth year to makeup for this elective that i'm dropping? cus it's not mandatory.. Also, when is the last day to add/drop courses without penalty or something? Could someone explain to me how this works because I've never had to drop a course before.

are you dropping the course and taking another one? if so it shoudn't matter
but if your dropping the course and not taking another one then that changes your course load so it might actually have affect on osap

It might affect your OSAP. Go to SFAS and there should be forms to amend your OSAP application.

You can only overload (Take more than a full course load) if you have a 7.0CA (For Science Students, but it should be the same for everyone except maybe Engineers) and you also need to get permission from your Faculty.

Last day is September 17th for Term 1 & 3 courses. Term 2 is January 11th.
