How would I go about taking a 6 course load?
One of my courses is extremely easy and not very time consuming next term. I know this as it is a full year course. I was wondering if it is possible to take 6 courses next semester and how I would do so.

if your SA last year was above 7.0, you can email the office of registrar about overloading, they should be able to grant you permission, and solar will then allow it.

Overloading can be tough. Unless it's going to get you out a semester early, it's not worth it.

You might be better off to get involved in some extracurriculars if you have extra time. Makes you look more well-rounded for scholarships, grad school applications, etc. and you'll meet people who might be able to help you get a job when you're done school.

Engineers typically have 6 courses every term, it is easily manageable.

But Engineers don't have the extra heavy readings required to keep up with each course.
Like stated above, if OP is in Social Sciences or Humanities, I definitely don't recommend overloading.
It may seem like a waste of free time at the start of the term, but trust me, by exam time, you'll be thankful you only took 5 courses.

We have assignments and projects too. On top of those I average 400-500 pages of required reading every week.

Overload away, mon ami. It is completely doable. Just be organized.
