I wanna know also how much they get from the book sales.
Childs is such a good prof. He should definitely make more than $106K. :(

Not all of them have books though, only a really small percentage. I personally had only 1 prof so far who wrote a book and is using it for his course. Not to forget they have co-authors, publishers who also need to make a profit, etc.
Edit: Why is there a document with salaries? Isn't that like... private information..?

This only lists the profs who make over $100,000 btw. Does anyone know if it lists the sessional profs? I can't find any, but that just may be because they earn less than $100,000.

I don't think he publishes much or at all, which is why he isn't getting top dollar.

I don't think they'd make much...I want to say I saw $8000 for a summer course once.
Anyway, you can really tell who does the research and who does the teaching.
Some people are getting like 20k benefits too...

Nope, I think it has to do with McMaster being a partly publicly funded research institution or something, which is why they disclose such. Just not that many people know about this.

Some profs are MDs as well, so that is why. On another note, a Senior librarian is getting paid 100k, whats up with that?

You mean from the posted list?
Then no.
That list is what the prof personally make for themselves.
