So what, I don't think that matters. To the OP, for Health Sci they focus way more on supplementary, once you have above a 90 its all supplementary, some people can get in with a 91 while others with 94 don't.

It's the supp app that matters once you pass the cut-off which is 90%. The only time your average comes into it is if his sup app and someone elses were equally good, then the average is used to differentiate.
Sorry he didn't get in :(, but don't let him feel bad. A lot of getting in is luck, and a lot of qualified people get turned down. Good luck to him where ever he goes, he's got some amazing marks

I heard that if you say you want to be a doctor when you are older in the supp app you are rejected... LOL

Probably.

I imagine the people who look through the applications are pretentious morons just like the students.

If that person's school is anything like mine the English teachers mark ridiculously hard for no reason. I got an essay back with "You write REALLY well" on it yet she gave me high 70's/low 80's on it and I know I made no grammar or spelling errors. I was on another forum where people who got in posted their marks and one person got 100 in English. I could see mid to high 90's but 100? That is just weird. It is not like math or science where if you get the facts right or get the right answer you get 100. Sorry, I am just bothered because I normally get 90s but my English teacher is giving me 84. I won't complain too much because the class average is in the sixties.

LOL i bet most of those hlth sci kids want to become a doctor... probably the only reason they went and applied to it was because they thought it gave them some edge

Once you have the grade and a good supplementary paper, getting into health sci is pure luck.

This is what life sci people tell themselves to make them feel warm and fuzzy inside.
