xbox 360.
anybody know how to mod an xbox so you can play burnt games from torrents?
from what i understand its not hard to do. looking for someone who knows how and is willing to do it as i dont have the tools. will pay 60 $$

I have not even touched an xbox 360 before but I thought you just went and bought something for it.... I'll ask my brother. haha

you have to flash your 360 with a firmware package, just go to kijiji.ca and see if you can find someone in hamilton to do it for you

Be warned, if you flash your xbox 360, you probably won't be able to play online anymoar.

you can play on live if flashed with proper firmware

But unless you've got good soldering and electronic skills (aka you're in engineering then I'd suggest finding someone to do it for you.

You could possibly softmod it, which doesn't require as many skillz. I don't know if an x360 can be soft modded though. I stopped paying attention after I modded my original xbox.... which is now the best media center ever :p

I recently did a mod. All you need to do is flash the DVD drive with different firmware. Hardest part was getting the xbox open :/

All you need is a desktop computer with a sata port... seriously. Most computers made within the last 4 to 5 years have this.
