Hey I recently brought my xbox to my residence and when i connect it to the port in my room and run the network test it says that it can not connect to the network.

Is this a known problem with an easy fix? Or does anyone have any experience in dealing with xboxs on campus?

the first time u connect a laptop u have to enter ur mac id and password... if ur xbox has an internet browser u can try

Its not wireless though, the first time I plugged in my desktop it connected right away, but its not doing the same for the xbox.

hmm i had to login for my wired connection, I just think thats the problem

odd... anytime i plugin 4 the very first time i have to log in

no idea... im not familiar wit xbox

I know there was a website I had to go to (a McMaster website) where I filled out the information about my Xbox and within a day I was able to play on Live, I tried looking for it, but no luck so far.
