Xbox Headset
So i've recently purchased a new xbox 360, and it came with a headset so that i could talk to my friends online over xbox live, but they are all complaining that it is muffled, hard to hear, and overall poor quality.
So my question is: what headset do you guys use, and what headset would you recommend i buy?
Obviously i'm not looking for something exuberantly expensive, i guess i'd say that my price range is from $30 to $70 as long as it is a fairly good quality mic that doesn't pic up my speakers and is clear.
Thanks a lot

Unfortunately it doesn't :*( even though i do have a pretty decent bluetooth headset lying around here somewhere.
I was looking at the turtlebeach headset for like $60, it seems to have decent reviews. :/

USB microphones won't work on the 360, as it won't read it as an audio device, you have to buy a special adapter that incorporates adapters for the speakers, controller and a whole lot else.
Way too complicated and expensive when i could just buy one specifically for the 360.

Much like the Wifi adapter and the Replacement HDDs, the 360 is basically designed to extract as much money out of you as possible.
Anyway, go for the turtle beach; everyone I know who game online on 360 a lot uses and loves them

I have the cheap turtle beach's (X11 I think), and they are pretty nice for the price you pay. You can use them with the PC as well.

I already owned a PS3 but sold it pretty fast to my brother since i didn't need the blu-ray player and the online for most FPS games simply weren't up to snuff enough for me.
Anyway, here are the headphones that i ended up buying.
They're Steelseries 4xb and are PC and Xbox 360 compatible:
