I have yet to understand what exactly is victorious about doing a "victory lap".

I did the extra year thing as well, as did a lot of my friends when we started in 2004!

lol I believe the "victory" was the part where you graduated and the "lap" is when you stuck around to celebrate some more

but really, age doesn't matter, especially since half the time you can't tell how old someone in university is anyway

Well, I did a half victory lap :p

Didn't want to do Advanced Functions and Calculus in one year, so I stayed back to do Calculus, Grade 10 Food and Nutrition (hell yes, I can make cinnamon rolls from scratch..), and Co-Op where I did a placement working at the U of G Human Anatomy Lab. Then I worked from February-August to save money for school. Great choice, for sure.

Oddly, a looot of the people I met in res stayed back as well, quite a few of us were 19. Epic trips to the Phoenix were had. Phoenix fries + beer = win.
