Looking for some good movies to check out over the break, even the ones that didn't get wide release.

What are your favorite movies?

Anyone knows any good lesser known movies? I find most of today's A movies to be complete schlock.

Already seen all of them, wish I didn't.

Will watch Primal Fear, thanks. Seen the rest.

What do you think of the Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind?

I really enjoyed Juno and Perks of Being a Wallflower.

And the classic Titanic.

I really liked The Butler - I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it.

No. I've had enough of Star Wars. I'm George Lucas you know.

You know I wanted to watch that movie, but the Michael Cera is one the most boring assholes out there.

I might check out the other one.

Okay, so I saw that movie. Edward Norton was good, but the plot wasn't anything special, but I guess it's because the shock value was lost as today we are all aware of what Catholic priests are into. Direction was flat, like a standard 90s movie. Richard Gere is as boring as always. The chick that played Truman's wife in the Truman Show was good.

In fact Edward Norton's second identity plot device made it look more like a good X-Files episode, where boring Richard Gere is replaced by equally boring David Duchovny, than a good noir movie like LA confidential.

The twist was good, I'll give it that.

lol, I love Richard Gere! The movie is most similar to Fight Club, I'm surprised you didn't mention that.

Well, I'm guessing that's why Norton got the role.

But yeah, Richard Gere is definitely in my most boring actor list, along with Kevin Costner, William Hurt and everyone I listed before. Maybe Kickass will be there soon as well, unless he gets off his ass and starts acting.

Donnie Darko is by far my favourite movie ever (you've probably seen it though).
The Butterfly effect is a similar type movie, no as good but still a nice one to watch.
Monty Python And The Holy Grail is my go-to comedy classic.
8 Crazy Nights is one of my favourite holiday movies.
It's arguable just a 1 hour music video instead of a movie, but there's the "visual album" for Noah And The Whale called "First Days Of Spring" and it is easily one of my favourite movies/videos. You can watch it free on Vimeo.

Thanks mate, will watch the first 2. Seen the other one.

Alright movie, but I liked the Director's Cut a lot more. It has so much more scenes that add to the movie, and the ending is more drastic and original than in original but at the same time a bit wacky. In fact this was the original ending, but the test audience thought it was too dark and depressing.

In fact there was a third ending, but I don't remember what that was about. Bottom line is, seen it. Good movie, but only the Director's Cut.

Never seen it, will watch.

You know those movies remind me of my favorite movie, the most underrated movie in history of humanity, as well as arguably the best movie ever made - Mr. Nobody.

No one I know seen it, but everyone who does love the crap out of it. It came out in 2009, but for whatever reason it only came out in US on home media in 2013. Check it out.
